SyTec's first corporate office was in the Commerce Building in downtown Raleigh. The company quickly built an engineering and sales staff to support and develop a growing client base. As progress continued, more space was needed to accommodate a larger staff. In 2002, the company relocated to a larger facility at 1400 Hillsborough Street.

A few years later, with the surge of demand for Managed Services, SyTec again faced the need for a larger space to support an expanding Network Operations Center, Call Center, and Help Desk.  In the fall of 2009, SyTec relocated to it's current corporate headquarters at 1600 Hillsborough Street.

In conjunction with this move, SyTec also unveiled a corporate identity transition, retiring the SyTec Business Solutions name and launching the new brand, Carolinas IT.  While the face of the business had changed, the core values of the company never wavered.  Carolinas IT remains focused on providing expert support for business communications networks.
